Judith A. Siess is a recognized expert in one-person librarianship and interpersonal networking. She is the editor/publisher of The One-Person Library: A Newsletter for Librarians and Management, has written 7 books on library management, and was the first chair of SLA’s SOLO Librarian’s division.

Occupation: Librarian (about to be retired)
Hometown: Urbana, now in Cleveland, soon to be in Champaign
Hobbies: reading, blogging, surfing the net, and traveling (i've been in all 50 US states, all but one state in Australia, and am working on Canadian provinces)

Hate About C-U: the first week of classes, when students walk across the street reading a map. and, of course, they get younger every year (or, I suppose, I could be getting older--nyah)
