Despite the fact that the current lineup of indie-pop group, The Brother Whys, didn't form until 2007, by early 2008 the co-ed band had already released a full-length CD entitled "I Wrote This With Our Bare Hands," a debut full of bright, upbeat melodies and well thought-out instrumentation. This show will give the audience a glimpse into Champaign's significant tradition of indie/synth-pop bands, since hints of Headlights, Red Hot Valentines, and The Like Young can be noticed in the The Brother Whys' sound.

Doors will open at 8pm with another local indie-pop group, Lucky Mulholland playing at 9pm and The Brother Whys taking the stage at 10pm. Advance tickets are available from band members or at myspace.com/thebrotherwhys.
