Professor Valerie Hotchkiss will share her expertise on the publication of Shakespeare's plays in his own time, using examples from our university's special collections. Published versions provide significant insights into how the plays were originally performed and who appeared in them. During this lecture, samplings of these texts will be performed on stage.
