Over a million people in the US are living with HIV/AIDS, with approximately 1/4 undiagnosed and unaware of their HIV infection. That means one in every 250 Americans is HIV Positive, whether she or he knows it or not. Many people infected and affected by the HIV virus live right here In Our Own Backyard. With the help of organizations like the Greater Community AIDS Project, we are better able to meet the needs of those people living with HIV/AIDS in our community.
