By William Shakespeare | Kathleen Conlin, director |

In this vigorous, athletic production of Shakespeare’s tragedy, the troubled Prince of Denmark wrestles with his rage and his conscience in a dangerous, icy court. Shakespeare melds stunning poetry, characters, and circumstances to devise rich and lasting observations of the human condition. Directed by Kathleen Conlin, the Barnard Hewitt Chair of Directing in the Department of Theatre, this staging of Hamlet will feature an original musical composition, a fresh sound score, and contemporary scenic effects.
