Underpaid Packy has been on the Champaign scene for the past year and a half. With an upbeat blend of rock, folk, jazz and funk style grooves, this five man band consistently delivers great shows and memorable times. Recent achievements for the band include winning best student band at the 2008 WPGU Local Music Awards and the April 4th release of their debut album "Tales From a Fifth Street Roof."

Gunslinger's Dream was born in 2003 when Chai Abdennabi, Mike Krasowski, Gordon Higgason and, former keyboard player, Nick Wygonik began holding regular rehearsals and gigs under the name Orpheus. Simultaneously, Chai and Tim Cartland were writing songs and rehearsing as an acoustic project. Orpheus needed a singer and Tim needed a band. It was the fall of 2004 when the two came together. With the meshing of the two projects, it was clear that Orpheus no longer described the mission. Gunslinger's Dream was officially in full swing.

Aaron Kamm is St. Louis's acoustic rock and blues performer! His rhythm is rooted in classic blues while his sound is as powerful as rock! Aaron’s music reflects the rhythmatic style of acoustic artist, Jack Johnson. Like the lyrics of Brad Nowell (Sublime), Aaron’s vocals are potently mixed. His passion for music is evident during all performances as his heart releases every tune with strong conviction! Growing up listening to his fathers vast collection of vinyl records gave Aaron Kamm a resourceful ear and great appreciation for many styles of music. His father, being a musician himself, had hundreds of reggae, blues, and rock albums to choose from. By the time Aaron was five years old he had listened to songs from the likes of Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, The Allman Bros., Toots and the Maytals, and many more. He was often inspired by the powerful melodies booming from the old school record player that seemed to always be spinning. Aaron Kamm now writes and plays his own music around Illinois and the St. Louis area. He is a solo acoustic performer who uses a device called a loop station to add to the depth of his guitar sound. This device allows him to layer guitar rhythms, leads, and harmonies that he played only moments before onstage.
