Wolf Parade is a Canadian indie pop band formed in Montreal in 2003, with their first show having opened for the Arcade Fire, the former Frog Eyes member Spencer Krug having been offered the gig and assembling a band in mereley 3 weeks. While on tour, the band released their self titled debut EP in 2003 appropriately called 4 Song EP. In 2004 the band released a second EP, this one names 6 Song EP, subsequetly being signed to Sub Pop in 2005 and releasing their first widley distributed EP which was self titled later in 2005. In September of 2006 the band released their first LP, Apologies to the Queen Mary which was very well recieved with much critical acclaim, earning them a 2006 Polaris Music Prize nomination. Wolf Parade is currently recording a new album which was schedualed for a 2007 release but looks as if it will be pushed back until early 2008.
