Like Young, The
Married rock duo Amanda and Joe Ziemba joined together in 1997, playing in numerous bands.In The Like Young, Amanda played the drums and Joe played the guitar, bass, and occasionally keyboard and both do vocals. Most of the songs were written by Joe. In 2002, they got married and released the mini-album, "Looked Up Plus Four." It was well-received by critics and eventually led to the release of their full length debut, "Art Contest," released in 2003. After a stint touring with various other indie rock groups, the band released their next album, "So Serious." On August 26, 2006, the band announced their retirement due to emotional strains and financial hardships too their toll on The Like Young, and in August 2006, the band announced their retirement.
