Less Than Jake is one of the most successful, hard-working, and honest ska bands to date. The group actually started as a power-pop trio, with the brass players being added on shortly after the band's formation in 1992. The band has steadily climbed the ladder of success since its humble beginnings in Gainesville, Florida. Less Than Jake have worked with Asian Man Records, Fueled By Ramen, and Fat Wreck Chords- before eventually being signed to a few major labels (Capitol, Warner Bros.). The group has a strong, dedicated following that continues to grow. Less Than Jake are known and loved for their ironic lyrics and catchy, hook-filled music.
