British rockers Kasabian began writing music as a band in 1999. The band’s name refers to the Manson Family cult member Linda Kasabian. After the release of their self-titled debut album in 2004, Kasabian toured extensively through Europe and North America. They put out a live record in 2005. Kasabian’s second album, entitled Empire, was released in 2006. Some of the band’s more popular singles include “Shoot the Runner,” “L.S.F.,” and “Me Plus One.”
