    Hailing from New Zealand, the self proclaimed "4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo," consists of musicans Bret McKenzie and Jermaine Clement. Their unique songs blend mostly acoustic guitars with clever lyrics dealing with everything from beautiful girls to world hunger. The Conchords have been gaining momentum since the two members attended college together in the late 90's. They now have an HBO comedy series based on their act and have released an EP "The Distant Future." They have been touring heavily and were a featured comedy act at 2007's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
