    Best known perhaps for their participation and victory on the VH1 show Bands On The Run in 2000, Flickerstick hails from Denton, TX. After winning, the band signed a record deal with Epic, who reissued their debut album, Welcoming Home the Astronauts. However, after a less-than-stellar reception, Flickerstick was dropped from Eipic and signed with What Are Records in 2002 and released their second album Causing a Catastrophe. Since, the band has released two more albums, Tarantula was released in 2004 and they released a live album in 2007 cleverly named Live from Atlanta.
