    Days of the New is the working title for the revolving group of musicians that support previous solo artist Travis Meeks. The current line-up, made up of Meeks, drummer Ray Rizzo and bassist Malcolm Gold, has been working on a new album delayed by Meeks entrance into rehab for a methamphetamine addiction. The group has released three albums under different color-based titles with different band members. Following a sound that is considered to be on the outskirts of grunge, the group has had two hit singles, "Touch, Peel and Stand" and "The Downtown."
