Ambitious Pie Party

Ambitioius pie party is one of Champaign-Urbana's local bands. They attended UIUC while performing in their band. Ambitious Pie Party has been known to reinvent their own music to create a whole new kind of sound. Their music could be categorized in many different categories like indie rock or jam but can't stand alone in one genre. The band consists of vocals/guitarist Kelly McMoriss, bassist Craig Jacobson, vocals/guitarist Kabir Herman, drummer Chris Baker, Jon Langley and Mary Eisenhardt. They usually play many local shows and have appeared in Champaign-Urbana's annual Pygmalion Music Festival in 2005. Their first album All I've Learned is Pushed Aside was produced by local singer/songwriter Adam Schmitt who has quite a career himself.
