    Formerly called the Blackouts, the band was renamed and reborn as the Living Blue in 2005. They signed to Chicago-based Minty Fresh Records and released the album Blood, Fire, Water in 2005. The band got started in Champaign and has played dozens of shows in the area. The Living Blue has toured across the United States and Europe and has played shows with acts like Iggy and the Stooges, the Strokes, Arcade Fire, and Headlights.
