This intriguing quartet from the Champaign-Urbana area has been described as “noise terrorism”. The band has shocked audiences with a barrage of low fidelity rap choruses and their general bad attitude for the past few years. As the story goes, the band formed when singer, Amelia, paid a visit to the home of another future band member. Her intentions were to beat up the so called “nerds”, but after hearing what they had recorded decided to instead beat them up then join the band. The rest was history. Mit’n went on to record two albums, including Colorful Conversation and their most recent, Bad Hair, Nice glasses On the latest album, Mit’n brews up a collection of tracks that can at times be weird, but they are balanced out with great songwriting that will keep you sane and satisfied.
