Not so up-to-date on local music? Wish you knew all of the coolest local artists? No worries — the LMA’s can act as your crash-course into the best that the Champaign-Urbana music scene has to offer. Not only will you get to hear about all the great bands nominated for the awards, but you will also get to find out who your peers consider to be the best. Plus, there will be live performances by local artists Agent Mos, Corn Desert Ramblers, Snowsera and Scurvine. You may make excuses, but there really is no reason not to go.
