Canopy Club beats other music venues in the area simply by being an intimate concert space that keeps the lineup fresh. Sure, you have great groups that come back on a semi-regular basis — Groovatron and Zoso, to name a few — but it’s the variety of artists at any one time that’s truly staggering, ranging from the locally adored to nationally endorsed. Features such as most shows are relatively cheap, the location is good, and the main stage area has a rainforest warehouse theme (it’s hard to resist a concert venue with monkeys painted on the wall) make Canopy become an undeniably great place to see live music.

As long as they don't put you in "The Void Room" that venue-within-a-venue sucks.

hey now. there's nothing wrong with the void room. it's an intimate place to see a smaller act. I saw Karl Denson Trio in there in December 06, and it was awesome!
